Another Peru experience

Hey, look at me. I had a crown taken out that was over 30 years old and had a lot of problems. This is me on day one after the extraction.
I feel like a real Peruon now. There are so many that have only one tooth in the front.

This is day two. I now have a very fat top lip, which Steve can't really see. How does that make me feel. I feel like a clown or somthing. Anyway, I am seeing bruising too. No way I am going to work today.

I wish I could discribe the actual experience. First I was not too confident in the medical system here, so when I went into the office for this procedure I was very pleased to see them using a lot of sanitary means. I was put in a gown and a hair cover etc. It turned out to be a very painless experience, but still not fun. I am having more after effects than I had expected. I went back in yesterday to have a tooth glued in and they said it was not healed enough yet, so have to go back in five days. So, I do hope that the swelling is gone down by then.
We were really feeling blessed with the result of the surgery. We went into it thinking he was going to remove the tooth and scrape out the infection and treat it for two weeks and then put in the implant. But, when he got in he found a hole in the bone and clean it out and did a bone graft and something else and then ended up putting the implant in that day, so we are two weeks closer to the finish. It will take two month before they can put the crown on the implant, so I will be finished before we go home. We were worried it was going to take too much time. We can truely see a great blessing in the way it is going.
