So, today, Sunday, we had a religious procession in our neighborhood. It stopped at our new grocery store and the Priest blessed it, I think that is what he did anyway. This table was set up in front of the store.
Ths is the men carrying the pictures. One sie was Christ the other Mary with baby Jesus. It was very heavy. Took about 20 men to carry it. They came right into our neighborhood. Our neighbor said that this only the second time it has been in our very area. There is a lady with terminal cancer and they brought the picture thing to her and they said Jesus blesses wherever it stops. Very interesting.
They do flower paintings on the street. This one was on our street. It was about 4 feet square.
The other day we passed this place where the people come to do their laundry. There is water coming into those big black things. The people have wash tubs and wash boards and scrub their clothes.
It looked like they were happy to be together and enjoy this days work. Men, children and the women too. There were a lot of people there.
