
This is their island as we pulled up. It looks pretty stark to me. Those huts are their houses.

This is the kitchen for two families. They have those pots on the hot coals and then on a rock or stone so they don't burn their island. They say the government gave them the solar panels because they were having too many fires with candles etc. for light. Now they have one light bulg in each house and a TV of course.

This is the inside of one of the houses. They have hooks around the room to hang their clothes on. This one even has a book shelf too. This young girl is getting ready for school.

Guess who this is shopping. He loved visiting each family and buying something from them. There were five families on this LDS island. What a way to live.

This is dad and I as we talked to the ladies about their wares. We look almost like the natives, don't we?
