We had another great day. It was the last day of PMG training. I am very glad I had that, but am equally as glad to have it done. Today we had a volunteer from the city here to teach as if they were a newly baptized member and gave them one of the new member lessons. It went alright. I just don't do well with that kind of situation. I found I don't pretend very well.
We had our last Spanish class and did our testimonies to a native Spanish speaking volunteer on the phone. Of course I had a very hard time with the tears, but I did it. Our foreign language testimony meeting was really great. We had Japanese, Sweedish and Spanish spoken. What a great spirit. It is really quite impressive to see all of these grey haired folks expressing themselves in a foreign tongue. We are working hard to put the things we need to know into our heads and we have been promised that they will be brought forward when they are needed. It is quite a blessing.
It was hard for me to realize too how close I became with those in our group. We had our last meeting together this evening and we were a totally different group than met together on Monday. Between all the experiences we had together and the spirit of missionary work it was really amazing.
Notice the use of the words: great, amazing awesome, wonderful etc. What a vocab I have.
Here is a group picture of our senior group. We really enjoyed each other. The poor teachers are young guys and girls returned from missions and they really put up with a lot of static from us oldsters.
We also took the traditional picture in front of the world map pointing to our new home. I will include that too.
