well, what a day. We did find us a place to live for the two months while we wait for the Elders to go home. We will be in the same building, but on the second floor instead of the third floor. We will be able to move in on Monday, so that will be a really long day and then to the Temple again on Tues. We need to go shopping on Monday, or we could have moved in tonight. People are really busy and we appreciate all they do for us. President is going to pick us up in the am for Church and we will be in a van full new friends. Then we have the whole day to rest and relax, I hope then Monday comes.
Today we were set apart as temple workers and then put to work. I guess the men are so far understaffed that they were not sure what to do with him because he didn't know everything and go right to work. I got to go on a tour of the temple and then study for a little while and then had a good visit with he counselors wife. They are from colorado and have been mission presidents down here in the past. People just seem to return to this area.
There are so many members in this state. They say 1 in 28 is LDS. That is really a good persenage. they say there are 82 stakes in this country. The temple was so crowded today, they had crowds of people outside waiting to go in and on the inside they were doing laundry as fast as they could o keep up with the people. there were really a lot of youth to do baptisms. they are beautiful people. Also very short. I feel like a giant. I know I will be able to learn the things I need and enjoy serving here. there is really a great spirit in temple work.
Well, wish us luck with our first Sunday here. They say I am usually on my on for RS with the language. I really need to learn conversationoal vocab. The church language is great, but it won't buy me a loaf of pan (bread).
